I AM BOOKS understands independence and the desire to 'go it alone'. We leaned on that independence, honored that desire and came back from the wilderness to help guide others on their self-publishing journeys.

Literally anyone can do it, but it takes a lot of effort to successfully publish your own work. That is often the allure of the big publishing houses, though the pressure is felt elsewhere, they have artists and marketing professionals on the clock. Countless hours must be devoted to and spent by self-publishers for design, networking, data-gathering, research, visits to bookstores, indie writer meetups (which can be fun), marketing, creating a website, starting a company, etc, etc, etc.... Not to mention working on your new book.

There is much to know and the answers are scattered across a vast wilderness of internet videos, in the workshops of retro-printing presses, in the bellies of coffee shops, in writer's league office hours, and at the tables of the local indie writer meetup groups, to throw a few bones. The answers are out there, but so is I AM BOOKS.
